Outsourcing Myths: “I Can’t Afford an Assistant!”

You’ve heard it before and I’ll say it again:  You cannot run your business alone.

Regardless of the size of your company, you cannot run it effectively (and make a ton of money!) when you alone are responsible for keeping all of the balls in the air.

You are not a one-man circus act.  You are a business owner, and you need to start taking lessons from your larger counterparts.

I’ve heard many of the reasons that people feel they cannot hire a Virtual Assistant, and I am dispelling the top two outsourcing myths right now.

Outsourcing Myth #1: “I can’t afford to hire an assistant”

I understand the primary reasoning behind this statement:  “I’m hardly making any income; how can I afford to hire help?  Why would I want to pay someone to assist me when I can’t even pay myself?”

Let’s take a minute and rework that statement with the following:  “Why am I hardly making any income?  Can I afford to hire help?  Is there a way that I can pay someone to assist me while still paying myself?”

The reality is this: Hiring Virtual Assistant Services will make you money.

Let me tell you that for as little as $50 per month, you will start to see more traffic to (and interest in) your website.  With more traffic comes an increase in sales.  And as time progresses, you will have more disposable income within your business to invest in more VA Services (which will in-turn draw even more interest and sales into your business).

Outsourcing Myth #2: “I don’t need any help”

Take a moment and think about the many hats within your business that you wore yesterday.

Marketer?  Blogger?  Social Media “expert”?  Scheduler?  Administrative Assistant?  Team Motivator?

You started your business with a dream – a vision – of what you would be doing every day.  Without even knowing you (or your business), I can guarantee that 99% of you are befuddled with the behind-the-scenes tasks that are required.

Your Virtual Assistant shouldn’t just be the person who is sitting at their computer waiting for you to fill their Inbox with tasks; your Assistant needs to be every one of the personas listed above.  By hiring Virtual Assistant Services, your time will be freed-up to make you the actual CEO of your business, and will allow you to build your business in the way you wanted to from the start (without the annoying tasks that occupy your time daily).

Here’s the bottom line:  You found me.  Whatever marketing and behind-the-scenes work that I did today drove you to my website.  Without knowing you, I knew how to find you and bring you here.
