Australia’s largest online food ordering service, Menulog, has partnered with innovative new delivery start-up, Drive Yello, to bring more Australians a greater variety of top quality cuisine to their door.
With more than 7,600 restaurants available, Menulog offers Australians unparalleled choice when it comes to food delivery. Traditionally working with local restaurants to deliver meals, Menulog’s new partnership with Drive Yello will allow more restaurants to offer delivery – benefiting both local businesses and customers.
In addition to greater choice, Drive Yello’s last mile technology means customers will also be able to track their food, from the moment it leaves the restaurant to when it arrives fresh to consumers.
What is Drive Yello?
Steve Fanale, Co-Founder of Drive Yello, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Menulog to provide what we believe will be the best online delivery experience in the country. With our technology and Menulog’s extensive restaurant database, Australians will be able to enjoy a greater range of top quality cuisine, knowing it will be delivered quickly and securely.”
Alistair Venn, Managing Director, Menulog added: “Menulog and Drive Yello share enormous synergy, with each brand providing a different side of the value proposition for Australian businesses and consumers. Menulog aims to make food discovery exciting for all Australians by providing a huge range of options for people to choose from. In turn, our restaurant partners have access to millions of hungry Australians across the country. Team this with Drive Yello’s goal of facilitating seamless delivery for local restaurants and you have a winning combination.”
Launching in Sydney in 2015 and Melbourne this year, Drive Yello is a delivery management platform and marketplace that connects restaurants with qualified drivers. When a job is posted to the Yello app, food and drink businesses are provided with a trackable driver and vehicle. Drive Yello will continue to expand its tyre tracks across Australia throughout 2017.
“For a start-up delivery business, partnering with the market leader in online food ordering is huge; we believe this will transform our business and we’re excited to develop the partnership to bring people across the country more exciting food delivery innovations,” added Mr Fanale.
